Below is the cappuccino and “Gingered Ale” (which packed an intense ginger punch) we had at the Nomad Library recently. Unfortunately, we’ve never tried “Forbidden Dance” - we stick to soft cocktails and espresso when we’re having a work meeting. Seriously, who knows what would happen if you served “Forbidden Dance” (an intoxicating-sounding combination of Genever gin, aquavit, Amontillado sherry, vanilla, velvet falernum, orgeat, pineapple, lime, and nutmeg) to all your wedding guests just as the dancing started? ![]() ![]() Check out the drinks menu - and maybe get some inspiration if you want to design a custom cocktail for your celebration. Best of all, the waitstaff is friendly and the drinks are *superb*. Tucked behind the dark, atmospheric bar at the back of the hotel restaurant, the Library is not a huge space but it feels relaxed. The room is furnished with an eclectic mix of couches, armchairs, and tables, and the walls are lined with books from floor to ceiling. LibKey Nomad will also clearly indicate retracted articles by showing a red icon with the text Article Retracted. There’s no sign for it on the street, so you just have to know it’s there (aren’t you glad we’re telling you?). Communal courses are served alongside a selection of salads, pastas, and entrees, complemented by large-format dishes for two. The robust menu celebrates American classics in a grand and continental way by striking a distinct balance between accessibility, theatricality, and luxury. Nomad Library is a cafe lounge located inside the Nomad Hotel at 28th and Broadway. Specialties: The NoMad Library is a soaring space, inspired by the iconic Library of NoMad New York. But then, one of our clients told us about Nomad Library, and our problem was solved! LibKey Nomad also offers open access alternatives, if full text access isnt available, and an open access version is. Unfortunately, Herald Square is not generally known for being quiet, comfortable, or stylish. Sometimes you might land on a different site where you dont have access from the libraries, but LibKey Nomad will redirect you to the site where you should have access. We wanted to find a quiet, comfortable, stylish, friendly spot where we could have a relaxed conversation and enjoy something good to drink. But for the longest time we struggled to find a place to meet that we really liked. We often meet our NYC wedding clients in the Herald Square area, because it’s close to Penn Station.
